The Legends and Puppies Tour of 2008 came to Dan's Silver Leaf at 103 Industrial St. at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Former Texas governor candidate and musician, Kinky Friedman, headlined the tour. The Texas Poet Laureate Steven Fromholz and his sidekick, Little Jewford, raised money for the Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch.

The three-story house where Delta Lodge fraternity members used to party the night away became vacant in May 2007, and the Campus Christian Center bought the legendary party house in December.
Delta Lodge was one of the oldest independent fraternities in the nation and became known in Denton for hosting the Fry Street Fair, an annual music celebration of local bands as well as nationally known acts.
