Yes, it was a rope around the little girls neck. It was a (safe)demonstration as to what the rope symbolized to Blacks. This was my grand-daighter and she along with so many of the other students did not understand the intimidation of the noose. (Continued…)

When will African American administrators and faculty at HBCUs learn that you cannot stifle the First Amendment in misguided attempts to appease nervous community members and ill informed alumni? Remember Hampton University tried that nonsense several years ago and received serious repercussions to their Journalism program because of it. (Continued…)

In response to Rico and Dr. Colas: Okay, I am not a white person. I am a Black woman. I grew up in the suburbs and had to deal with A LOT, I mean A LOT of racism and prejudice but of course NOTHING that could compare with what Black people dealt with in the past. (Continued…)
