My plans are to attend grad school at Prairie View A & M University in the fall of 2010. I am truly proud to be a candidate for graduation at Grambling State University because I earned the privilege.
The knowledge I gained at Grambling State will be passed on and forever be appreciated.
I strongly encourage the student body to keep pushing, to not be blind-sided by the idiosyncrasies of those outsiders that try to make "us" fail, and to never give up because, like the great late Frederick Douglass said, "Without a struggle, there can be no progress."
When I am gone from Grambling, when it is all said and done, I hope that I will have left a mark and been a positive influence on the student body.
I would like to say thank you to Dr. Danny Hubbard and my brothers of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity for being my family away from home.
I would also like to thank Dr. Walter Davis, Dr. Larry J. Pannell, The World Famed Tiger Marching Band and Staff; Dr. Sandra Gamble, Mrs. Sandra Lee, Mr. Joseph Naylor, Dr. Gernerique Stewart, Dr. Bobby Burk; Dr. Martin Edu, Mrs. Wanda Peters and the entire Mass Communication Department for their continuous love and support.
I would like to give special thanks to God and my family members for helping me see it through and for being there for me in times of need.
In closing, I would like to wish my fellow classmates good luck in their future endeavors and to encourage them to keep their pride in Grambling and at heart forever, always.
